Our~STORY

House of Diamonds (HoD) is dedicated to creating dignified employment opportunities for women in Indonesia, providing a pathway to thrive through meaningful work as textile artists in a safe and supportive environment.

The founders of House of Diamonds, Ida & Lila

The founders of House of Diamonds, Ida and Lila, are creative entrepreneurs whose vision for their business is shaped by their own lived experience. Like tens of thousands of Indonesian women, they spent years working in garment factories - long hours, unrealistic quotas, and little protection. They know firsthand what it means to endure mistreatment and to feel unseen.

But their story didn’t end there.

Ida and Lila carried with them a dream -  to create a different kind of workplace. One where women could earn a fair wage, learn valuable skills, and work in an environment built on respect, not pressure. A place where choosing dignified work could open the door to stability, confidence, and hope.

House of Diamonds was born from that dream - not just to make beautiful things, but to help women build something beautiful for themselves and their families.
